To clean drains with baking soda and vinegar, start by pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain. Follow the baking soda with 1 cup of white vinegar and allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes. Then, run hot water down the drain for several minutes to flush away the debris.

-1/2 cup baking soda
-1/2 cup white vinegar
-1 cup boiling water
1. Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain.
2. Follow the baking soda with 1/2 cup of white vinegar. The vinegar and baking soda will react to form carbon dioxide gas. This is what will help to clean your drains.
3. Plug the drain with a wet rag or the plunger, if you have one. This will help to keep the reaction contained in the drain. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes.
4. After 15 minutes, flush the drain with 1 cup of boiling water.
Pour a half cup of baking soda followed by a half cup of vinegar down the drain. Allow the mixture to sit in the drain for 30 minutes. This will give it time to work on the clog.
After 30 minutes, pour a pot of boiling water down the drain to flush away any remaining baking soda and vinegar.
Pour 1/2 cup baking soda, followed by 1/2 cup vinegar down the drain. Allow the mixture to foam for several minutes, then flush with hot water. For a stronger cleaning action, you canrepeat the process.
